It's been found!!!!!
Yesterday, after 4 days of looking, John comes home looks and decides he needs to clean up doggie landmines. As he goes to get the shovel, leans to scoop a pile, something shiny catches his attention. The sun hit it just right and the ring was shining out underneath the grass!!!
